Maple City lies in southern Leelanau County, in Kasson Township. It is located at the junction of Lewis Road and County Route #616, about six miles south of Lake Michigan. This small town has withstood the test of time, surviving as a result of its location in the middle of one of Michigan’s major tourist areas.
