I had a couple existing structures that I wanted joined on our property. Ken met me at my property, walked through, talked about it... He said,"This is what it is going to cost you." He was within 2% of the overall project completion cost.His crew/guys are hard working, extremely professional, always clean, work long hours, start early - work late, even Saturdays as necessary to stay on track. The supervisors are knowledgeable - always informed, scheduling and communication is wonderful throughout the entire process.
Financially the job was slick - everything worked well.

- If Ken see issues down the road, he explains the scope and immediacy of the options:
- example - putting two buildings together, floor was not level. Instead of living with a slope, used concrete to make a gentle slope instead of steep slope. Problem solved.
Ken was always ahead of the program. When the Inspector was planned to be on site, there was no question about the ability to inspect the structure. We had a beam resting/pocketed in concrete piers. The crew was prepared. Had the concrete cut out, hole dug; the inspector could sign off on it on the first visit rather than coming back for another round/delay.
These guys are always ready for tomorrow's work and next week's work flow.
Even the subs were always in check and organized. Any problems were handled efficiently by Ken and his crew to bring back subs and solve issues. Issues are going to happen, it is how Ken deals with them that differentiates him from the rest.
Ken is the consummate professional and an early riser. He is always on time and the earlier the better to get the day started or solve an issue before it develops into a problem.
Early July start 90-120 days. We had 60 days to move in. Ken said, "We will get it done." They did not have the job an hour before the commitment to the timeline.
I had known Ken before from the financial background in my career. I knew how Ken operated his business from a financial standpoint and the comfort level was higher because of our previous knowledge.
The follow through is above and beyond the normal.
The best testimonial that can be said is that even during the worst economic time of our generation, Ken is steady and keeping his crews working.
